The Panther Press is a new journalism club created by Mrs. Mendenhall that gives students selected the chance to write articles for our school newspaper. Over the year, the members on the Panther Press will be able to write about exciting assemblies that take place throughout the year, as well as special field trips, Spelling Bees, class projects, and other subjects with signifigant importance. The members are excited for this new oppurtunity that has come upon them, and can't wait to publish their hard work on our school website!

Live United: Day of Caring

Thursday, September 13, 2012 was the Live United: Day of Caring.  Employees of the Nestle (Stouffer's) Company came to Park Elementary and spent the morning giving our playground a face lift.  The basketball standards were repainted.  The map of the United States was labeled with the abbreviations for each state.  The Neslte employees painted other colorful geometrical shapes around the playground.  We appreciate the employees from the Nestle Company for spending time at Park Elementary and making our playground a fun and colorful palce to play!
