Sixth Grade Orchestra Concert

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Sixth grade students have the opportunity be in an early morning Orchestra class. They rehearse two to three times a week.  They play all kinds of string instruments like the violin, viola, cello, and the string bass.  Sixth grade students from Larsen Elementary also come to Park to combine for Orchestra.

We had the opportunity to listen to their Christmas Concert at an assembly. They were very good. We enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!

These projects had four sides that could of represented food, clothes, living, and hunting. These students have enjoyed their time to work on and display them.

Welcome to the 5th Grade, Mrs. Coates

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Mrs. Coates is not new to Park Elementary, but she is a new 5th grade teacher.  Last year she worked with the interns and new teachers. I interviewed Mrs. Coates and found out many interesting things about her. Her favorite food is chips and salsa. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is garden and sew. She has been a teacher before she came to Park.  Mrs. Coates is very nice and is a wonderful teacher.
