Mrs. Ruth Cooper's sixth grade students performed a Reader's Theater of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens for the younger grades at the school.  A (once in probably life time) Snow Day was the cause of A Christmas Carol in January.  The sixth grade students donned some costumes and scripts and shared a great story.  All who attended had a great time.  Even though it was a Reader's Theater, the actors made the story come to life.

Fun times at the Fall Carnival!  There was good food, fun games, & fabulous gift baskets for the silent auction.  Thanks to all that donated items for our gift baskets.  A great big thank you goes out to Valerie Davies and Lisa Muirbrook for co-chairing this fun event.  Of course it wouldn't have been a success without all of the Park families that came out and enjoyed all the festivities!

On Wednesday, October 20th, the students were treated to an assembly put on by the musical duo called Moon Light.  This duo is a father and a daughter, Stephen and Aubree Oliverson.  Aubree has been playing the violin since she was five and also composing music since then.  Her father, Stephen is also a talented pianist and composer.  They have performed at the Sundance Film Festival, at Thanksgiving Point and as far away as Minneapolis.  We were all amazed at the talent of this duo.  They were joined by Aubree's 4th grade brother, Eric and her 6 year old
