On January 19, 2011 the annual Spelling Bee was held.  The competition was tough as usual.  The teachers and audience of the fourth through sixth grade students and parents held their breath as we watched students spell words that some of us couldn't even pronounce.  All those who competed are to be commended for getting to this level of spelling expertise.  The school is very proud of you.  The final 3 were Britney Jensen-3rd place, Wynter Watkins-2nd place and Sam Weaver in first place.  Sam went on to compete at the district level in March.

Babe - The Sheep Pig

On February 24, 2011 our students were delighted by a production of Babe, the Sheep Pig.  This assembly was presented by the Young Company of Brigham Young University.  The play was performed in the middle of the auditorium instead of on the stage.  The students were seated on the floor around a large X pathway between them.  This X pathway was where most of the action took place.  Many Park students got to join the actors by being ducks, dogs, puppies, sheep and a camera man.  The story truly came to life.
