Mrs. Lindley has sent out the November newsletter. Please take the time to read it and mark the important calendar dates! The lunch menu is also being included in this post.
We are so excited for Halloween tomorrow! The picture has all the information needed about our Halloween parade and the route that we will take. Please remember that students are not allowed to bring any type of play weapon (even if it goes with their costume). Masks can only be worn during the parade.
Poem of the Week! Remember, you can memorize this and come recite it for Mrs. Snow or Mrs. Andersen for a treat!
Congratulations to Mrs. Pearson's class for winning our spirit wear this week! Way to represent Park Elementary!!
We learned about descriptive writing in fifth grade while creating a monster to describe! The students had so much fun and wrote amazing stories!
Many Park students recently participated in a Halloween Storytelling event in the Panther's Den. Park's BTS Arts drama coach, Mrs. Bean, was the storyteller. Younger graders (such as Mrs. Holyoak's class, pictured) explored the classic book "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything." 4th and 5th grade students heard a relatively unknown tale called "The Vampire of Croglin Grange." Shivers and giggles were part of the spooky event!
How do teachers celebrate the end of term? We tape roll of course! Congrats to Jill Rucker and Bruce Elliot for the tie in tape rolling yesterday. Both of them rolled it all the way to the front doors!!
