PSL Leadership Conference

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

On Tuesday, Oct. 3rd, the Park Student Leaders were able to attend the Leadership Conference at BYU. They were able to meet and trade stickers with several other school representatives. As part of the conference, they listened to some inspirational leaders such as Brad Barton, Ryan Radebaugh, John Bytheway, and Meg Johnson. They learned different ways that they can lead from their heart. They came away from the conference with happy hearts and many ideas on how they can assist Park Elementary and the students.

Drama in the Aztec Empire

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

We have been so lucky to have Mrs. Bean here at Park! She led the fifth grade grade classes through a role play of the decline of the Aztec empire. We love when she comes and adds drama to what we are learning!

5th Grade Root Beer Float & Dance Party

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

The fifth graders have been working hard all month to earn a party. Each student had to come to school, be on task, participate in lessons, and show leadership skills to earn enough letters to come play. We enjoyed rootbeer floats and then danced! Our fifth graders have some awesome moves! Great job leaders.

Fall Into Poetry

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

During the month of October, fifth grade will be studying poetry. During our study, we will be posting a fun poem to learn each week. Any Park student can memorize these poems and come recite them to Mrs. Andersen or Mrs. Snow for a treat! We hope you love these poems as much as we do.
