Leaders are everywhere at Park Elementary.  We are happy to report there are student leadership opportunties available for students to apply for.  Please go to our school webpage and click on the Student Leadership Job Applications tab to view job descriptions and print applications.  

Current openings include:  Attendance Stats, Mailman, Attendance Tracker and Panther Paw Placers.

Attention Students & Parents -- The book fair is coming to Park Elementary! September 19 is a Minimal Day in Nebo School District. Park students will get out of school at noon on this day.  This day is set up so teachers can attend district wide training.  Please make arrangments for your students to be picked up at noon so teachers can get to their training on time.  Thanks!

Today was our traditional WIG kick off assmbly.  As all Panthers know WIG stands for Wildy Important Goal at Park Elementary.  Teachers used skits, dance and song to introduce our school WIGs to students.

Reading Goal:  90% of students will be reading on grade level at the end of the school year with 100% of students making atleast one years reading growth.

Attendance Goal:  93% of our student body will be on time for school each day.

Shine those pearly white teeth and slick down their hair, September 13 is Picture Day!!  More info will be coming as the date gets closer.

Mark your calendars now to join us on September 1 @ 6:00 p.m. for our Back to School Night.  We will start promptly at 6:00 in the gym.  We will discuss school business then excuse parents to visit classrooms (students will stay in the gym for an activity).  After two class rotations, we will all meet back in the gym for the Green Man Group performance!  We are excited to have them back at Park!  After their performance we will all go to the playground for a hot dog social.  We hope to see all of you next Thursday!

Park Teachers along with all Nebo employees were treated to an inspiring message this morning at Maple Mountain High School.  The keynote speaker reminded us that we all truly matter and we all have potential.  We hope to carry that message througout this upcoming school year.

**School Registration** Tuesday, August 2, 2016.  We are looking forward to meeting and greeting all of our Panthers!  You may drop in anytime from 7:30 - 4:00.

Please help us spread the word, we need all students to come in and register. 

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days celebration is in full swing.  Be sure and pay attention as entry #65 goes by Monday morning during the Grand Parade.  Our very own Park Leaders will be showing their community spirit by participating in the parade this year.
