Kindergarten Fun

Monday was a big day for our Kindergarten students.  In preperation for first grade students attended school all day, practiced for their graduation, ate school lunch AND participated in their end of term incentive activity.  We bet they all slept really well!  We are so proud of all the accomplishments our Kindergarten students have made this year.

Park Elementary is hiring an adult night sweeper.  See job discription below, share with anyone that may be intersted.  Job closes Friday, can apply online at www.nebo.edu - click on the job tab.

Adult Sweeper - Lane C - $9.02 per hour. 3.30 hours per day, 5 days per week, 180 days per year. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. There are no benefits with this position. Will work under the direction of the head custodian and the lead night custodian and with the Night custodian doing general cleaning of classrooms and hallways after school.

Track Schedule

3rd grade track meet is re-scheduled for May 10, 2017.  6th grade will have their track day on May 16, 2017.  Both will take place at Spanish Fork High School football field.

Park PTO Spring Carnival

Our awesome PTO will be sponsoring our Spring Carnival Monday, April 24, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  There will be bounce houses, games, food, basket auctions & student performances.  Back by popular demand "TEACHER OF THE DAY"  All students will receive a ticket from their teacher when they leave school on Monday.  There will be a can for them to drop it in when they attend the carnival to be entered into the teacher for the day drawing.

Parenting with Love & Logic Class

Park Elementary will be hosting a Parenting With Love & Logic class May s 1, 8, 15 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  There is a $12.00 book fee to attend the class.

Parenting With Love & Logic is designed to help parent's practice effective parenting without the power struggles.  This class teaches parents and children to accept natural consequences and reach a win/win agreement.  Please pre-register by calling Holly at 801-465-6010

Pennies for Scholarships

Penny Wars is in full swing.  This Friday will be the final day to bring change in for our service project.  Dig into those couch cushions and check your car seats.  Our students will be awarding scholarships at the end of the month!  Thank you to all that have supported it.

It is time for our annual “Penny Wars” Service Project!  We began this service project last year to give scholarships to past Park alumni that are now high school seniors.  Our goal last year was to raise enough money to give one $500 scholarship.  In true Panther giving we raised enough to give TWO $500 scholarships!  The two recipients were Sawyer Hamilton who went to BYU and Alisha Garzan who also went to BYU.  Our hope is to keep paying this forward so when our current students are hig

Park 4-H Sewing Club Makes School Flag

Students in the sewing club designed and made a beautiful school flag.  Students synergized in creating the design, then each member was tasked with creating part of the flag.  What a great life skill you are all learning.  Special thanks to our sewing club advisor Mandi Bristow for sharing her talents with our students.  We are excited to display our new school flag in the hallway of our school.
