Fifth Grade Nova Lesson

Submitted by lacee.stoneman on

The fifth grade students had a very important and fun lesson a couple weeks ago in NOVA. Officer Leifson talked to the students about the dangers of driving while under the influence. The students got to experience vision impairment with specialized googles while attempting to go through an obstacle course. We learned a valuable lesson. Thanks Officer Leifson!

Lending Library Information

Submitted by lindsey.hughes on

My name is Melanie Lundberg.  I am with Women United.   We are interested in placing a couple of lending libraries at homes in your school boundaries.  We are looking for people who have a space in their yard to keep the library that won’t be in the way of sprinkling systems.  They are about 2’x3’. We will provide books for the libraries.  The home owners will just have to manage them and let us know when they need more books.  This is a fun way to connect neighborhoods and get books in the homes with children.
