Caroling around the Park 2021

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

Tis the season for caroling at school! This year we caroled around the park and each grade chose a song to sing in front of the school. They did amazing! Our Park Panthers are brave kids who constantly impress us! Click the link below to video each of their performances. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Cox for directing the event and putting so much time and effort behind the scenes!

Stained Glass Windows

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

Mrs. Andersen’s fifth grade class created amazing stained glass to hang in our windows and get us in the Christmas spirit!
It was a fantastic synergizing activity. We all worked together and helped each other trace and cut to get these works of art completed.

Computer Class

Last week in computers class, we practiced new skills with new programs!

5th grade used jamboard to practice their coordinate planes. They had to use coordinates to create and map out Santa's village as well as a Christmas tree using their mouse to plot the points and connect them.

2nd grade used jamboard to do a find the differences activity. They had 10 slides with all different pictures to try and find all the differences. They could either use the shape tool or the pen tool (which is a freehand mouse exercise) to circle the differences.

Shannon and Dean Hale Assembly

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

Shannon and Dean Hale (Newbery Award winners) were able to come to Park and host a special assembly for all our students! They spent time talking about the importance of reading and they even brought enough books for all of our students to be able to take one home.  K-2 receive Princess in Black and 3-5 received Diana: Princess of the Amazons. We would like to thank Writers Cubed for reaching out and selecting our school to be a part of this assembly. The students had an amazing time and loved their books!
