Jaylynn Lindley Competes in the National Miss America Competition

Congratulations to Mrs. Lindley's daughter, Jaylynn! Last week, Jaylynn Lindley, a student from Salem High School, had the incredible opportunity to bring her Find Your Fire Initiative to the National Miss America competition in Orlando, Florida. Jaylynn was given a platform to share her thoughts on the significance of pursuing one's passions wholeheartedly. She not only spoke passionately about the topic but also exemplified it in her own life, earning her a spot among the top 11 finalists.

Happy Birthday Mrs. Hawk! Mrs. Hawk is a huge assest to Park. She not only takes care of our library but also helps to manage our take home library for students and our small group instruction library as well as many other things here at Park. She is so much fun to talk to and is a fantastic member of our specialties group. Thank you for all you do to help us Mrs. Hawk and we hope you have the best birthday!

Happy Birthday Mrs. Andersen! Mrs. Andersen is part of our 5th grade team and is always the first to volunteer. She is fantatstic with her students and spends so much time making sure that her students are getting the best of her and her teaching skills. She plans fun lessons, is always up for games or activities that allow the students to have fun and learn at the same time. Mrs. Andersen takes time for each of her students and in turn they each feel valued and loved. We hope you have the best day Mrs. Andersen!

Teacher Grants

Congratulations to Charla Andersen, Carrie Dunn, Lauren Davenport and Lindeon McBride for having their applications for teacher grants accepted! These teachers were seeking to add some classroom materials for their students to use during CKLA lessons. These students are going to have a lot of fun with the new materials and they will truly enhance their learning growth! Way to be awesome leaders and examples to our students!

Hip Hop Assembly

On Monday, we were able to have a really fun assembly to kick start the new year! We were able to learn all about hip hop and its origins and influences. The students were able to participat and even learn some new moves. What a way to start off 2024 and a new school term!
