Please send in pictures of your Veterans by Friday, Nov. 3. Please include their rank, if you can, and the students names that attend Park Elementary. Thank you!
We will be having our annual Halloween Parade tomorrow, Oct. 31 at 2:00 pm. The students and teachers will be walking around the block surrounding Park Elementary. We want to invite all parents and friends to come and watch. Please remember that masks and weapons are not allowed at school. We hope to see you there!
The faculty at Park Elementary loves to sharpen their saw! We have a new winner this year. Mrs. Bird kept the tradition of our new faculty having what it takes to win the trophy. Awesome Job! Thank you everyone for playing. This was Mr. Kay's last roll down Park's hallway, and he sure is going to miss these fun times.
Ms. B, our school counselor, has been teaching us about being proactive vs. reactive. During Lighthouse Leaders we learned what it means to be proactive, and that sometimes we have the choice in a situation to be proactive or reactive. Her lesson was followed up the following week during our Leadership Sendoff with what being reactive can look like. What a great obeject lesson with Diet Coke and Mentos. Thank you, Ms. B!
Have you ever wanted to work at our great school? Now you can! We are hiring overload technicians to work with our students and teachers. If you are interested or would like to know more details please go to our district website nebo.edu and click on the jobs tab.
If you have been to Park recently, you know there is so much happening with our students. We could not do this alone. Park Elementary recognized Mary Ann Eyre with Nebo Credit Union today at the Utah Valley Business and Education Partnership Breakfast.
Our principal, Mr. Kay helped our first graders with an apple art project for Johnny Appleseed day. The first graders had a great time. Thank you, Mr. Kay!
