Teacher Gingerbread House Competition

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

On Monday, after school, the teachers and staff gathered to build and create their gingerbread houses. Every team was given a basic gingerbread house kit and were allowed to spend no more than $20 for extra materials but they could bring anything extra from their classrooms and homes. The gingerbread houses turned out so cool and we had some really creative themes. The students were then allowed to vote on their favorite on Tuesday and the winner was announced on Wednesday. Congratulations to third grade and their Candyland theme!

We Love Mrs. Hughes!

This isn't a goodbye but rather a "we will see you at the district office"! Mrs. Hughes has been an amazing leader, friend and support to everyone at Park or involved with Park. Lindsey came in under some tough circumstances and asked the staff to trust and learn with her. Mrs. Hughes has shown and taught us perserverance, kindness, crucial conversations, how to make an impact and to try 100 among many other invaluable lessons. Lindsey tackled everything thrown her way with love and a determination to make her school, staff, and students the best that they can possibly be! Mrs.

We want to thank the students and staff from DFMS for taking time to come visit us and share their talents with us. We had a great time. Please click here to watch the videos!
