Mrs. J's Toolbox Lesson

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

Fourth graders enjoyed learning about an analogy relating tools in a toolbox and tools we can use to help our emotions. Our school counselor provides grade level and individual classroom lessons each month centered around using  the 8 Habits and tools to help us cope in stressful situations.

Happy Birthday Mrs. Jensen! As our PE teacher, Mrs. Jensen does a fantastic job of keeping the students engaged and having fun while playing any games or activities that keep them physically active. She is kind to all she meets and tries her best at everything she does. Have a great and fun birthday Mrs. Jensen!

Colonial Times

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

The fifth grade classes have been learning about colonial times the past week. Today we got to write with feather pens, try to take seeds out of cotton, learn how they made Johnny Cakes, played a fun game, and see how children lived at that time.
