Hello Park Elementary Parents,
I am excited to share some changes that will be happening in our Preschool program next year. In the past, all screenings have been done at the Summit Center and decisions have been made at the district level. We will be changing that next year and placement will be made at the school level.
What this means to you:
We had five projects compete at the district science fair and all of our students did amazing! Every single project is going on to the Central Utah Science Fair at BYU next month. These kids showed that being proactive and learning something new can be fun. Good luck at the next science fair.
The fifth grade classes participated in their very own Super Bowl the past two weeks. Students were drafted onto teams and asked to read each night. They delivered!!! They read tens of thousands of minutes together in the two weeks. We sure are proud of these kiddos. Keep reading!
Fun Fact: The Chiefs won in both fifth grade classrooms … what a way to predict the Superbowl game!
Ms. Webster’s class showed their creativity but creating pop tart valentine houses!

Last month, our Leadership Academy class spent some time learning about Dr. Martin Luther King and his contributions in our country! Their hallway art turned out so beautiful! Mrs. Ray also spent time teaching the students about Chinese New Year and the fun celebrations and traditions surrounding that holiday.
