Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Woerner! She will be teaching our 4th & 5th graders keyboarding coming up in a couple of months and we can't wait to get to know her. We hope you have the best day celebrating your birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Mr. Burraston! Park has been so grateful for everything you did this summer to get our school ready for the new school year. Mr. Burraston is happy to help where he needed and is always so positive and happy. He has been a great addition to Park this year and we are so lucky to have him!
Spirit Wear
It's that time of year again where Fridays mean spirit wear! Mrs. Lindley so graciously bought every student a new spirit shirt to wear this year. We ask that every Friday the students wear their spirit shirts along with the staff. The class that has the most the most students in their spirit wear earn the opportunity to have Parker the Panther join their class for the next week and have their photo posted on our social media. This weeks winner goes to Mrs. Webb's class! Congratulations!
Kindergarten Fun
Kindergarten has had a great first week of school! Friday Fun was happening this morning and the students were loving it.
5th Grade
At the beginning of every school year, 5th graders pair up with a partner and they write poems about each other. Then the students spend some time drawing caricatures of themselves. The hallway is filled with fun drawings and poems to see and read!
4th Grade Awesomeness!
Mrs. Webb's class is taking the iReady Math Diagnostic this week! Mrs. Webb said she has been so impressed with the variety of strategies that students are using to solve problems! Way to be Park Panthers!
NOVA
The fifth grade classes started NOVA yesterday with Officer Leifson. He will come in each week to teach us the principles of nurturing, opportunities, values, and accountability. We are so excited to learn from him!
Kindergarten & Preschool Open House
Our Kindergarten and Preschool open house is tomorrow from 3:15pm-5pm!
First Day Fun
Its a first day of school tradition for the teachers to host a tape rolling contest after school. This year was no exception and big congratulations to Ms. Webster for taking the win this year! We have had a great first few days of school and am excited for the great year that we are going to have.
