The students made these fingerprint characters while learning that we are all unique. The poster will be displayed in the hall, probably for the entire year. It think it is a great addition to the "I AM" decor for Hispanic Heritage Month!

Teeth varnishing is happening on Tuesday, October 4 and the papers are coming home today! Teeth varnishing is a free service open to all our students. Please check your students backpack and sign and return the paper no matter if you choose yes or no.
Yesterday in the Panther Den, Mrs. J taught our students about RECOGNIZING, UNDERSTANDING, LABELING, EXPRESSING and REGULATING our emotions. Students got to “pin the emotion on the color” (instead of pin the tail on the donkey). Park Panthers will spend all year learning to be emotional detectives by practicing curiosity. Ask your student what the colors mean?!?
First Grade had fun celebrating Apple Week. We ended the week by tasting different apple treats. We then graphed our favorite treat.
Just a reminder that there will be no school this upcoming Monday, September 26. Teachers will be engaged in a Professional Development Educator Day.
Congratulations to Kindergarten for winning spirit week again! Mrs. Jones's had 95% of her class in spirit colors this week and they were so excited to get to keep Parker for another week!
