6th Grade Registration

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Sixth Grade students had the opportunity to attend a registration assembly at Diamond Fork and Spanish Fork Junior High Schools.  Students listened to the Jazz Band, 8th Grade Orchestra, and Choir preform.  The counselors explained how to fill out the registration form and discussed all of the elective choices.  Junior High School Students then took the 6th graders on a tour of the school.  It was a fun and exciting visit.  Each student was given a registration form that need to be returned to their 6th grade teacher by Friday, March 22.

Habit #6 is important because it teaches people to work together. It also helps because a lot of the time you get a job that you need to work together.  Habit #6 is Synergize which means to work together. We all should synergize and work together to get along better. Habit #6 and the other habits make our school better.

6th Grade Taste Test Panel

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

The 6th grade food tasting assembly was very fun. We had some lunch ladies from the District come and make a turkey and beef meal. The 6th grade students were invited to taste the turkey and the beef and then take a survey on which they like best. The one that is picked the most will be one the school lunch menu next year in all of Nebo School District. After we ate the meal the lunch ladies gave us dibs ice cream dipped in chocolate, and sprinkled with nuts. It was delicious. We would like to thank the lunch ladies for coming and preparing this for us.

Park Students Love Habit #6!

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

My favorite habit is #6, Synergize. Synergize means to work together so that the team always wins.  I visited Mrs. Palmer's class to see how they use Habit #6, Synergize.  When Mrs. Palmer's class earns free-time they like to play board games and play on one of the white  boards. The class has to work together to earn the free time and they also have to work together to play the games.  Everyone should work togther and we can always win.

Science Fair

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

On February 21st, Park School had it's annual Science Fair! Lots of students participated and they were all so creative! We wish everyone could win a ribbon, but unfortunately, only 3 people could win in each grade. The students who won first, second, and third got to move on to the District Science Fair. All the people who made a science project got a certificate, with their name on it, and Airheads candy. We can't wait for next year when Park celebrates science again!
