Kindergarten Book Buddy Day
There was a tremendous amount of synergy going on as students and buddies researched an animal and prepared a report. Afterwards, our kindergarten students were proactive in serving their buddies some donuts and water. It was a win-win situation as everyone put first things first in working on the research papers and then sharpened the saw by giggling and enjoying the donuts. We would love to thank our amazing PTO for providing the donuts! They truly seek first to understand our needs!
Want To Do More Art?
Does your child like art? Do they want to learn more? Then join an art class this summer through Nebo School Districts Art program. Visit nebo.revtrak.net for more information.
Champions Challenge Reading Winners
Congratulations to seven very lucky Panthers who just won tickets to the Champions Challenge Rodeo which will take place in June at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. These students met their reading challenge and were entered into a schoolwide drawing: Jordan Jensen, Aspen Olsen, Saberial McKell, McKay Thomas, Kyler Hoover, Austin Golding, Taylor Johnson. Kyler Hoover and Jordan Jensen were the lucky winners of a new pair of Justin Boots. Way to go Panthers!
Park's Teacher Of the Year- Mrs. Sorensen
Congratulations to Mrs. Sorensen for being Park Elementary's Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Sorensen has taught 5th grade at Park School the past 9 years. She is an incredible teacher, teammate, and does so much for the students at Park. She has been integral in implementing the Leader in Me as well as a student leader advisor and mentor to other teachers that have come through Park.
We are so proud and honored to have Mrs. Sorensen at Park. Congratulations!
5th Grade 3rd Term Reward Party
Our 5th graders enjoyed an afternoon of games and activities for earning their end of term party. Way to go Panthers! Sharpen those Saws!
A Real "BULL"-Y Blocker
On Leap Day, we had an assembly. Rodeo Clown J.J. Harrison was there along with rodeo queens and rodeo officials from Spanish Fork City. They talked a lot about the difference between teasing and bullying as well as the difference between tattling and reporting. J.J. always likes to end with a contest. He had Mr. James come up and try to rope him. Mr. James actually roped him! Then to close, we repeated after J.J. and told our teachers that they were awesome and underpaid.
