A Leader from Afar Visits Park School

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

It's not every day you get a visitor from another country at Park School.  Today Park Elementary welcomed Mayor Vignisson from Westman Islands, Iceland, a friendship city to Spanish Fork.

Student leaders guided Mayor Vignisson, Mayor Leifson and others on a tour of the school.  Students greeted our Icelandic friend with happy smiles and warm hearts.

Going Green at Back to School Night

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Back to School Night was a huge success!  Thanks to our parents, students and teachers for making it all possible.

This was a great opportunity for parents to meet with teachers to become familiar with the curriculum and procedures in their child's classroom.  Likewise, teachers had the opportuinity to answer questions from parents in a close setting.

The night was just getting started as Park patrons enjoyed an unbelievable performance by the Green Man Group from Utah Valley University.  Those that attended enjoyed a hot dog social afterwards.

Art Work Alley

There is a stretch of hallway in our school that seemed to need a little upgrade.  Maybe everything is gray and you can't recall what hallway we are talking about because it really was ALL GRAY!

Opening WIG Assembly

I like to put on a wig or a fake mustache and do something silly with friends, do a little dance.”  Tom Lenk

There is something about dressing up and getting in character that brings out the inner craziness of people—especially teachers.
