Park School's Crystal Apple Award was presented to Carrie Dunn on February 28, 2011. The award was presented by Craig Harvey of Horace Mann Insurance who sponsors the award.
Carrie Dunn has been teaching for twelve years. Eleven of those years have been in first grade here at Park School. She is a kind and very hard working teacher. She is always there to help another teacher. She continually strives to improve and to learn new things to help her become an even better teacher. She completed a masters degree with an endorsement in Math a few years ago. She is now working on her ESL endorsement. Carrie is also a Reading Recovery teacher and works with students before school begins. She is an excellent teacher and a good friend. We are glad to have Carrie as part of the staff here at Park School.
