Park 4-H Sewing Club Makes School Flag

Submitted by ryan.kay on

Students in the sewing club designed and made a beautiful school flag.  Students synergized in creating the design, then each member was tasked with creating part of the flag.  What a great life skill you are all learning.  Special thanks to our sewing club advisor Mandi Bristow for sharing her talents with our students.  We are excited to display our new school flag in the hallway of our school.

Approximately 300 people turned out to Leadership Day on February 10, 2017.  They were amazed at the speeches, performances, tours and many other talents.  We were so proud of all of our students and can't wait to see the great things they do after leaving elementary school.  Special thanks to Travis Bourne with Spanish Fork Channel 17 for editing our video!

We are excited to kick off our Champions Challenge Reading Challenge.  Several members of the Fiesta Days Rodeo committee along with Miss Rodeo Utah, McKenna Hales was on hand to not only teach students about the sport of rodeo but to offer up incentives to keep up with their good reading habits.  They even got Mrs. Gardner to dress up as a rodeo clown and get in the barrel.
