World Renowned Motivational Speaker visits Park

Chad Hymas is from Rush Valley, UT.  When he was in his twenties he had a farming accident.  This accident left Chad paralyzed from the chest down.  He is a world class wheelchair athlete and once wheeled from SLC, Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada!  He is an amazing speaker and we were very lucky to have him visit our school.  Chad talked to the 2nd through 6th grade students about making good choices and being able to live their dreams.  He told the students to listen to their parents and teachers about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  He reminded the students to be careful on the Internet and he challenged the students to show respect for all students and those who are around them.  We hope we can remember to follow our dreams and to help those around us.
