We have several new teachers this school year and the first one that we would like to welcome is Amber Packer! She is in her 4th year of teaching in preschool and is most excited to teach new young kiddos coming into school for their first experience in a school setting. The thing she enjoys most about teaching is when students have that big "ah-ha" moment and the look on their face of pure joy, excitement, and shock that they did it; those are the moments that bring tears to her eyes. Amber graduated from Grand Canyon University with her bachelors in early childhood education and a masters in curriculum and instruction. Amber and her husband have been married for almost 19 years and they have a 13 year old boy. She loves Coke and Dr Pepper and she absolutely loves chocolate and candy (any kind). Amber's hobbies are camping, swimming, and mountain biking. A couple of fun facts about Amber is that she used to lifeguard when she was a teenager and every year she renews her CPR and First Aid. She is also the youngest of four children in her family is originally from Baltimore. She moved to Utah right after high school and met her husband a few months later at a baseball game in Salt Lake.
