Please join me in welcoming our new fifth grade teacher, Charla Anderson. Below is a little bit about her,
I grew up in Washington state and came to Utah for school. I have three beautiful children (McKenna, River, Avery) and my husband (Jade) is also in education. I love living in Spanish Fork and being a part of community events. I enjoy hiking, swimming, reading, and vacationing. My favorite treat is a Diet Coke with lime and coconut and some french fries with white fry sauce. I also love Scotcharoos. I love being a part of programs that I value, so I volunteer at the Spanish Fork Youth Arts Festival in the summers, I am on the Board of Directors with Kids Who Count in Salem, I am on the Board of The Schinzel-Giedion Syndrome Foundation which is an international nonprofit, and I am a part of a local service group called Hearts of Service. I like to stay busy! I have taught for 18 years in Nebo School District. I love being a teacher and getting to create relationships with the families I interact with. I am excited to be at Park.
