We want to help you promote the love of reading in your community.
Libraries, schools, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for support to host their own Mini Reading Marathon. Support ranges from $100-500.
Park PSL is busy making posters for their Leadership Conference coming up on Oct 4th at BYU and for the PARK Fall Family Reading Night on Monday, Oct 10th from 4:30-6. Come for Games, Books, Halloween Stories and DINNER.
The students made these fingerprint characters while learning that we are all unique. The poster will be displayed in the hall, probably for the entire year. It think it is a great addition to the "I AM" decor for Hispanic Heritage Month!
This week's spirit winners go to Mrs. McBride's class! They rocked their spirit colors this week. Congratulations!
Teeth varnishing is happening on Tuesday, October 4 and the papers are coming home today! Teeth varnishing is a free service open to all our students. Please check your students backpack and sign and return the paper no matter if you choose yes or no.
Yesterday in the Panther Den, Mrs. J taught our students about RECOGNIZING, UNDERSTANDING, LABELING, EXPRESSING and REGULATING our emotions. Students got to “pin the emotion on the color” (instead of pin the tail on the donkey). Park Panthers will spend all year learning to be emotional detectives by practicing curiosity. Ask your student what the colors mean?!?
First Grade had fun celebrating Apple Week. We ended the week by tasting different apple treats. We then graphed our favorite treat.
