Leadership Academy

Last month, our Leadership Academy class spent some time learning about Dr. Martin Luther King and his contributions in our country! Their hallway art turned out so beautiful! Mrs. Ray also spent time teaching the students about Chinese New Year and the fun celebrations and traditions surrounding that holiday.

Counselor Appreciation Week

Submitted by sheree.storrer on

This week is Counselor Appreciation week and we are so lucky to have Mrs. J at Park! She is an amazing counselor and handles everything she does with grace and kindness. Not only does she teach the students how to handle and name their emotions but she teaches us adults as well. She leads by example and is always willing to help where needed and to lend a listening ear to all who walk through her door. We all love Mrs. J and are so thankful that she is a part of our school! Thank you for always Trying 100 and being a fantastic leader example!

Congratulations Mrs. McEntire!

Our very own Penny McEntire will be a principal next school year for Orchard Hills Elementary! Although Penny will be deeply missed here at Park, we are so excited for this new step in her career. Penny has been a tremendous help at Park and has been amazing at getting us to set and reach higher goals. She truly cares about everyone and is the kindest person. She is always Trying 100 and truly wants the best for everyone. Congratulations Penny on this newest adventure and we will always be cheering you on!
