Lights On Event

Park Elementary has been "sorted" (if you have seen Harry Potter you'll understand) and has been chosen to represent the Gryffindor House!  Gryffindor is the house which most values the virtues of Courage, Bravery, and Determination.  That definitely describes our school.  Three other schools have been sorted to represent Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.  All Four Houses will be competing against each other to see how many wizards/witches or muggles come to the District Lights On Event.  You are welcome to dress up as your favorite wizard or witch or just come as

1st Grade Field Trip

Submitted by bristi.poulson on

First grade students had a great time on their field trip to the Red Barn in Santaquin. They went on a wagon ride and learned about growing crops and conserving water. They walked through an apple orchard and were able to pick a yummy apple.

2nd Annual Student Job Fair

Submitted by bristi.poulson on

We held our 2nd annual Student Job Fair at our school last night, and it was a big success. Teachers and Staff prepared posters and applications for students to read about the different positions we will have available this year. Students were able to fill out applications for the jobs they are interested in, and will find out if they have been hired soon. If you weren't able to attend the job fair last night, you can get an application from Mrs. Buchanan in Leadership Academy. Thank you for a great night!
