Gold Medal Mile assembly

Park Elementary School is running , biking, skateboarding, walking and more, to be a Gold Medal Mile School!  The Park PTA launched the Gold Medal mile program at an assembly on Friday, September 17, 2010.  The students, their families and teachers will be walking around the USA as they log their miles throughout the year.  Paper airplanes filled the air, as they were caught, those students were asked to unfold their airplane to discover a U.S.

KSL Radio and Zions Bank honored Susan Cloward, a Reading Specialist at Park Elementary School on

September 22, 2010. 

The Teacher Feature Program was developed to recognize outstanding teachers who have gone the extra mile, not only in the classroom, but who have also made a significant impact on many young lives.

Utah Symphony performs for Nebo Fourth Grade Students

The Utah Symphony through the Professional Outreach Programs in the Schools (POPS), were able to once again visit our District and perform a concert for the 4th grade students.  The performance was held at Maple Mountain High School this year.  Our Park Fourth grade students looked fabulous as they boarded the bus all decked out in their finest clothes ready to hear Musical Magic: Stories Come to Life.  The symphony was conducted by David Cho.  The students heard music from a Harry Potter movie, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Sorcere
