Experimental Theatre, Heroes, and Dinosaurs is what Brigham Young University had to offer the 6th Grade students of Park Elementary.  On February 7th, the sixth grade students enjoyed watching Henry V in the Nelke Theatre in the Harris Fine Arts Center. This was an experimental theatre experience.  The actors interacted with the audience and worked hard to make Shakespeare come to life for those in attendance.

Fun Friday Snow Sculptures

The fifth grade students who turn in their completed homework get rewarded with a Fun Friday Activity.  The Fun Friday Activity on February 1st was building snow sculptures.  It was a perfect day, because it had snowed recently but the sun was out and shining.  The students were encouraged to bring their own squirt bottles and the teachers provided the food coloring.  They chose who to work with and what to sculpt.  They all had a lot of fun.  Keep up the great work 5th grade students!

The 5th grade students graduated from the Dare program on November 20.  The Dare Program teaches students to live a drug free life!  This is important drugs are harmful and dangerous. We all had to write an essay about not using drugs. We all received  Dare t-shirts. It was a fun program because it teaches us not to do bad things.
