Sixth Grade Synergizing Art Work

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Since the first of the year, Mrs. Cooper's class has been hard at work replicating Dutch artist Pieter Bruegel's famous "Hunter's in the Snow" painting.  It has been a tremendous effort in Synergyzing, with the students voting on the picture, tracing the main lines of the painting onto tiles of paper, coloring the tiles accurately, and putting them together into a cohesive picture to be ready for Leader in Me Day in March.  The students found that they had to work with each other to get the picture to work out right.

Victories are achieved quite often at Park Elementary.  Students and classes accomplish many goals in attendance, academics, and personal goals.  But this victory was delicious because it was the first Victory Breakfast for our Positive Panther Board winners.

Students that had their name on the winning row of the Positive Panther Board, along with Dale Phelps, President of Nebo Credit Union, and Mary Ann Eyres, Branch Manager in Spanish Fork, came together for a breakfast celebration.
