March Victory Assembly

Park School celebrated Victory winners for the month of March with special guest Spanish Fork Mayor and former Park Panther Steve Leifson.  Mayor Leifson shared with students how he used the 7 Habits while on City Council and when he made the decision to run for mayor.  One Habit he mentioned was Synergizing  or working together with others for a greater cause.  We appreciate Mayor Leifson for his message and support of Park Elementary Students!

It was another successful Victory Breakfast on March 14th for 25 lucky Park Panthers and special guests Bill Summers, Raul Carson from Maceys and Sierra Sorensen from America First Credit Union.

Students and guests enjoyed breakfast burritos and talked about the 7 Habits in school and in the workplace.  At Park Elementary we are building leaders that will someday be effective workers and citizens in our community.

Sixth Grade Synergizing Art Work

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Since the first of the year, Mrs. Cooper's class has been hard at work replicating Dutch artist Pieter Bruegel's famous "Hunter's in the Snow" painting.  It has been a tremendous effort in Synergyzing, with the students voting on the picture, tracing the main lines of the painting onto tiles of paper, coloring the tiles accurately, and putting them together into a cohesive picture to be ready for Leader in Me Day in March.  The students found that they had to work with each other to get the picture to work out right.
