Mrs. Coates Class Completes D.A.R.E Program

Officer Beddoes from the Spanish Fork Police Department met with 5th grade students for the past several weeks instructing students on the importance of staying drug free as part of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program (D.A.R.E.)

Officer Beddoes discussed with students the importance of making good, healthy choices and resisting the use of drugs.  Fifth grade students were honored at D.A.R.E. graduation Tuesday where they recieved a certificate for completing the drug free course.

Students enjoyed a donut party to celebrate their work.

Champions Challenge Rodeo Reading Assembly

Park Panthers are in for the ride of their life during the month of March.  In conjunction with the Champions Challenge Rodeo in May at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, Diamond Fork Riding Club and city officials have teamed up with local schools in a reading challenge to energize students to love reading.  

Students that read 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week, will be eligible for a drawing for a pair of Justin Boots and tickets to the Champions Challenge Rodeo.

February Victory Assembly

As part of the February Victory Awards Assembly, students enjoyed watching and learning about Native American dancing and culture.  Shoshana Begay, who currently works at Park with our Title I team, introduced her family and presented a wonderful presentation through Native American dancing.  Students were thrilled at the amazing dances and enjoyed learning about the Native American culture.
