Park Parent Lighthouse Team Blog

Submitted by sydney.boyer on

New this year to Park is the Parent Lighthouse Team. Our purpose is to help parents learn and implement the habits into their homes. Every month we come up with a challenge or activity for students and parents that goes along with the habit that we are working on. For the month of September, we are challenging students to work on Habit 8, Find Your Voice. Our team has recently set up a blog and a YouTube news channel. Each month kids will have the opportunity to apply to be on the Lighthouse News.

Kindergarten's First Day

Our kindergarten classes had a great first day of school! They went on a scavenger hunt to find the Gingerbread Man. They got clues from a lot of different helpers around the school before they finally found him. This was a really fun way for our new kindergarten students to get a tour of the school and learn different rules and procedures as they searched for their missing cookies.
