"To Live; To Learn; To Lead"

Park Students met together for the 2nd Victory Assembly this year on February 7th.  Victory Assemblies are a way to recognize students as leaders in the areas of math, reading, and leadership in the classroom.  Students are selected by their teachers and recognized during a Victory Assembly on the first Friday of each month.

As part of the celebration, members of the PPL or Park Pride Leaders planned and performed skits for the student body.  A group of students from the PPL saw a need to improve the level of respect in the classsroom throughout the school.  They performed a skit that demonstrated  a disrespectful class and a respectful class.  These students sent a clear message using humor and real life scenarios in the class.

Another group from the PPL performed a skit that poked fun at office administrators, secretaries, and teachers.  Park students enjoyed Jordyn Davies' impersonation of Mrs. Banks doing a cartwheel into splits, and Tyrel Birds' Mr. Kay look-alike with his signature fohawk and goatee.

Students had fun and look forward to the upcoming Victory Assembly in March.
