Star light, star bright,

First star I see tonight,

I wish I may, I wish I might,

Have this wish I wish tonight.

Our 6th grade Stars have been engaged in learning about the Universe.  Sixth grade science is intriguing because students explore from the tiniest microorganism to the vastness of the universe and make the connection to how they fit in the picture.

Recently, Mr. James’ class created constellations out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows.  There is much more to the stars we see at night.  Every star is part of a picture in the sky that tells a story of long ago.  Whether it’s truth or myth, it invites the imagination for those that wish.
