WAR, what is it good for? Absolutely EVERYTHING at Park Elementary!
We will continue our Penny Wars fundraiser till this Friday, February 28th. This is a great way to contribute to Park School and to help fund the fabulous activities and programs provided at our school.
This is how Penny Wars works: Students bring pennies to contribute to their class running total. The class that collects the most pennies wins and will be given a reward from Mr. Kay.
Here's the kicker. Students from other grades and classes can donate silver coins and dollar bills in classes other than their own to bring those class totals down. And the WAR is on! Pennies count as positive money and anything else (silver coins and bills) count as negative.
We have had some great battles so far, but we need your help! If you have loose change and would like to donate to Park Elementary, feel free to drop some pennies in your students class can and bomb other classes with your silver or bills. It is all for a great cause.
