Recently, students helped with the Spanish Fork City Easter Egg Hunt by putting eggs together for the event.  Led by our Leadership Academy teacher, Mrs. Wirfs, students synergized to help our community.  This is one of the many things Leadership Academy has provided this year.

Leadership Academy has provided learning opportunities in leadership, music, art, and more for students. To understand more how Leadership Academy works, the following is from one of our Blog Squad Leaders Evan Prokopiw, 6th grade student.

Leadership Academy by Evan Prokopiw

At Park Elementary students have a prep class called Leadership academy. At leadership academy kids learn about the 7 habits and learn skills to use later in life with Leadership academy's teacher, Mrs.Wirfs. When they are in leadership academy they do fun activities and art projects. When they first enter the students will go to their assigned seats and wait for instructions. Then they will run through the daily five which is, come in quietly, sit down at your seat, review what you learned last week, dance off which I know from experience is the best, and start the lesson with Mrs.wirfs! Like all the other prep classes behavior in leadership academy is ranked by excellent, good, acceptable, and inacceptable. The class gets points depending on their behavior. If they save their points, in a matter of weeks they can get parties and other cool rewards. Mrs.Wirfs has tons of fun and educational activities for the students to do. Example is the art the classes do that is hung on the wall outside of leadership academy. With a fun nice and all around great teacher, leadership academy is a great place for students to learn about the leader in me and other lessons to guide them through life.
