Congratulations to this months victory winners! Each month our teachers list 3 students in their class who they feel have have shown great leadership skills through the 3 categories 1) Math 2) Language Arts 3) Leadership
We also need to recognize the amazing staff we have here at Park, Here are just 4 that we recognized this month.
Mrs. Jorgensen-6th Grade, Miss Marshall-Kindergarten Tech, Mr. Holt-Title One Coordinator and Mrs. Peterson-Special Ed Tech
Mrs. Judkins, our school counselor, is helping our kindergarten students with mindfulness activities. She taught us about breathing and finding our calm space.
Mr. Sansom, our district GAINS representative for Drama, brought his vowel owls to our kindergarten classroom to help students learn the vowel sounds. We had so much fun getting the vowel owls to eat their sounds.
Mrs. Taylor's first grade class is having fun learning and playing new math games for Math Zone. Math Zone is a time to practice math skills that have already been learned. Way to go Leaders!
We will be doing one more order. Please come into the office for an order form. Order forms are due Friday, Dec. 6th.
Recently we held our annual Leadership Day here at Park Elementary. Leadership Day is when our school opens our doors to guests and celebrates the great things that are happening with the Leader in Me. It puts the spotlight on our students and offeres them the opportunity to share what they are learning and to showcase their creative ideas.
