Kindergarten's First Day

Mrs. Leifson

Our kindergarten classes had a great first day of school! They went on a scavenger hunt to find the Gingerbread Man. They got clues from a lot of different helpers around the school before they finally found him. This was a really fun way for our new kindergarten students to get a tour of the school and learn different rules and procedures as they searched for their missing cookies.

WIG - Wildly Important Goals

We are so excited for our annual W.I.G assembly here at Park Elementary! W.I.G. stands for Wildly Important Goals, and at Park Elementary we have some big goals set for this school year.

Reading Goal: To have 90% of our students reading at grade level and 100% of our students to make 1 years growth in reading.

Golden Panther Paws: To have 90% of our students receive at least one Golden Panther Paw this year.

Attendance Goal: To have 93% of our students on time to school each day.

Lunchroom Weekly Winner

Ms. Poulson

Our winners for the great lunchroom behavior last week were Ms. Poulson's 3rd Grade class. They were so excited to be the first winners of this school year, and get to sit at the decorated tables. Keep up the great behavior Ms. Poulson's class!
